I need to do some rust repair on a MK3 VW. One of the front shock towers is rusting at the point where it's welded to the inner fender. I'd like to get a section that runs along that seam, an inch or two below and 2-3 inches above.
If I had a battery-powered sawzall, this would be a relatively simple trip to the junkyard... anyone have a VW parts car, or a battery-sawzall, and can help me out?
