God, add a 2.4L Ecotec and fix the floors... leave the rest alone.

Blimey, that is a seriously rare car. Station wagons weren't very much in favour in Germany until about the 80s, before then they were mostly considered handyman wagons so nobody wanted to be seen in one. To find one from the 50s that's still in one piece is a rare find indeed, given how few were made in the first place.

Man I wish I could find something like that near me. Something with just the right amount of patina.

Alright... this has been nagging me....I just imagine this guy has a lot of cars...
My dad sees a 73-4 Chev Biscane wagon...
In the background is that a Mercury wagon...?
This is all about 5 hours from me and I feel a bit of guilt for not taking a look see and seeing what this guy has....

And is that a Ford Maverick to the right of the Opel....
And I just realized the Opel has a roof rack for cripes sake!!!

FTFY
A Turbo Solstice drive train would be excellent.

It's an Olds wagon and what appears to be a Studebaker Lark or an early AMC on the right.

Looking at the front of the Opel, full size Olds/Chevy wagon on the left. The blue one on the right, dunno. The crease on the hood inboard of the headlight, inside turn signal and chrome bumper almost says Datsun.
