The top picture show the part of the bumper that sticks out. The bottom picture shows the flat top of the bumper. I have no clue what the thickness is but I can find out tomorrow and let everyone know.

My '02 Silverado 1500 factory bumper width is 72" so no go there. Sounds like the 63" wide bumper is more likely in Cherokee, Wrangler, Ranger, S-10 etc. territory
