Not mine, blah, blah, wanna see them go to good homes, yadda, yadda,

    1987 Conquest Technica - $1750 (Londonderry, NH) (Narrowbody) http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/1729008084.html

    1987 Chrysler Conquest - $2000 (Hudson, NH) (Widebody) http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/1724627595.html

Not sure what's wrong with the widebody (seller says it "runs rough"), but by the gods I am sorely tempted by it. Especially since I love widebody Starquests and my hunt for a hardtop 89-91 RX-7 is not going well.

No personal experiences, but from what I have read, "runs rough" issues on those are relatively easy and painless to tackle if you can solder.

Always liked those, but the wife would kill me.

Hmm... my martial bliss account is awfully low - she may kill me anyway. I always wanted a Conquest before I died.

OK, you buy it, and I'll keep it at my house until you can come pick it up.

I'm terribly tempted by the Technica, but I need another old car I can't afford to keep running around here like I need kidney stones or a pigeon whistle.

I can solder. I had to do a LOT of resoldering on my RX-7 to get stuff like the brake lights and windshield wipers to work right, so if that's all that's wrong the with the Conquest then it would be another easy project!

Crap, now that I said that, I'm really wondering now if I should go have a look at the widebody Conquest. If I agreed to buy it, I'd have to sell the RX-7 and store either the Conquest or my MS3 until the RX-7 is sold, since I only have space for two cars in my driveway.

If only that RX-7 GTUs were being sold this month instead of two months ago...
