I briefly had an 86 version of it. It was an actual 6 speed (5 sp + a low gear). It is a shame, the motor and trans both blew shortly after I bought it. I ended up trading it to a junkyard for a rear tail light for my 89 Toyota pickmeup..

:( makes me miss my '85 5dr tercel hatch :(... i loved that thing... slow as heck with it's 62hp but i always liked the idea of tossing a 4afe into it... add 25lb/ft and 40hp... (it could prob do interstate speeds then haha)
i miss that car :(
