    In Fenton, MI
I don't need my 1993 Dodge D250 anymore and I figured I'd offer it up here. I have pics on my other (dead) computer so if you are interested, I'll get you some more.

The specifics: 1993 D250 3/4 ton truck with the 12V Cummins intercooled diesel. It's a beast. It has power windows that are, well, moody. They may work today, and may not work tomorrow. A/C that blew cold last year but must have leaked out. It's a regular cab, 8' bed. 353,XXX miles. The truck has been averaging 16-18 in the city and 20-23 on the highway! Loaded with a double axle trailer and a car that drops by 2 or 3 mpg in the city and 1 or 2 on the highway. This truck is a beast and a great tow vehicle.
The Good: It's a GREAT tow vehicle. Normally I'm just towing a car on a double axle trailer, but I have pulled 11,500 lbs once or twice and the truck handled it amazingly well. It's had Rotella synthetic oil since 10,000 miles and currently has about 800 miles on a new oil/filter change, front tires and alignment.
The Bad: There seems to be a loose ground that effects the windows, dash lights and blower motor. Sometimes they work, sometimes they are on a union break. The ugly: The right front corner is ugly as sin. A dump truck backed into it before I got it so the fender and grill are, uh, well let's just say they have character.

If you are interested, I'll send some pics. I have no worries with this truck making it accross the country today. If you live a great distance away, I'll drive it out there if you pay for fuel and get me back home.

Yeah, a price would have been helpful huh? I'd like to get $2,000 for it.

Combine this truck with my '85 crew cab dually and I'd have an awesome road machine. Timing, ugh!

I forgot a little bit of info, so I'll add this point to the good points listed above. The battery and cables are about 3 months old, I put in an industrial battery (nearly $200 alone!)

Thanks. I actually like it. My wife hates it (maybe that's why I like it so much?) because it's big and ugly but I tell her it's like a three legged dog. I just love it but are a little embarrased to admit it to others.
It's actually been a great truck for me. NEVER let me down, just starts every time and soldiers on. It aint' pretty but as a work/tow vehicle it's perfect.....unless you want to be seen in it haha

    That'll buff right out
I seriously wouldn't mind having that if I had any disposable income whatsoever. Body parts for those are relatively cheap.

Did I mention it has a $1500 fuel fired engine pre-heater installed. On the coldest day in MI (last winter we're talking -30 F) it'll get the engine up to 170 without ever having to start your engine. No cold starts, ever!! Heck, someone make an offer before I part it out. I just need it gone!

If you still have it when I get my relocation alowance mid Sept I'll happily come get it. I seriously have at least half-dozen of that vintage truck for parts and have been wanting that engine for one for years, but right now I'm move-broke until the $ comes in.

consider motor cycle in trade? A racing buddy is looking for a tow rig.

Ahh, not a bike, thanks. I really need to sell it and if I trade it for a bike, I'll never want to sell the bike.

    what kind of bike........

    On question about the truck.....

WHERE WERE YOU 7 MONTHS AGO WHEN I WAS SHOPPING FOR A CUMMINS?

Oh well, got a sweet F150 instead.

7 months ago I was just thinking about selling it. Of course, you could always dump the F-150 and buy Big Red, after all real trucks don't have spark plugs
