Hey everybody, I'm debating selling my GRM Challenge project car. It's a rust free '75 Datsun 280z with almost everything to go turbo. Here's a list:

    [Exterior]

Custom Rustoleum gloss black paint job (sarcastic about custom)

    Shaved side markers and emblems

    Slotted mag wheels

Rising sun painted on the hood

    Tinted tail lights

    Interior:

    Mint 240z seats

    Stripped sound deadener

    Grant steering wheel

Custom Gauge panel (w/ boost gauge, AFR gauge, and 1 other gauge)

    Hello Kitty horn button

POR-15/Truck Bed lined floors (Will be done before sold)

    Dash Cap

    Grenade Shifter Knob

    Engine:

P30 block (Supposed to have work done to it but I can't verify)

P79 Head (Non turbo EFI Head, should have that this weekend)

    280zx turbo intake manifold

    Rebuilt Garrett T04 turbo

    Turbonetics Wastegate

    3" Downpipe

Megasquirt v2.2 (Needs to be wired)

    Supra 440cc injectors

    Extras:

    Complete Cartech turbo kit

    3 Head Gaskets

    2 Intake/Exhaust gaskets

The only reason I'm debating selling it is because I don't really have the time for a project car and I need some money to get my daily driver in tip top shape. There's not much left to get it running and if it doesn't sell before the challenge I'll try to get it running and compete in the challenge. There's a catch, if it sells I'd like to have first dibs on it if the buyer ever sells it. This car has sentimental value because it's my first car, and it's the first thing I've owned that I've payed for everything myself and invested a lot of time into. I'd like to get $2,500 for it, and you could always sell stuff to get you back into challenge budget. I'd really like $3,000 but for the GRM people you get $500 off. These are the only pics I have for now. The wheels that are on it are no longer on the car. (Triples no longer on the car)

I'm located in Ormond Beach, Florida

I still have plans to finish it for the challenge, I just posted it up to see what kind of offers I get. I'm going to slowly get it done for the challenge. Really all I need is to get the head, ARP head studs and rod bolts, put it together and wire Megasquirt.

Delete it for being $400 over what it should be? If someone buys it they can sell the extras and easily get it under challenge budget. The turbo kit alone will sell for upwards of $500.

Having owned a '76 Z, I find your description "stripped sound deadening" sort of redundant. I mean, these cars didn't /don't really have all that much sound deadening to them, do they?

I like the paint. Problem with getting it would be that my mounts are rb20 to s13 and the same for the wires... I'm undecided upon re-wiring.

I forgot to list what I'd trade for. I'd like a Miata (any year), E30, 944, 240sx, etc. Basically anything 5 speed, RWD, and fun
