    Not mine.....

1987 bmw 325e four door. This is a project I've been working on gradually for the last year or so. I was going to swap a carbureted smallblock Ford/Borg-Warner T-5 into it, but a job change and an impending move mean one of my project cars has to go.

The car is currently stripped down to a rolling shell. The engine mounts were sourced from www.E30v8.com. I made the transmission crossmember and mount for the T5 and clearanced the shifter hole to fit, so the whole drivetrain falls into place. Just need to get a driveshaft made out of a Mustang yoke and the rear section of the e30 driveshaft. The spare tire tub and a portion of the trunk floor have been cut out to house a fuel cell. The car will come with the swap manual I got from E30v8.com.

Great track car project, with or without the V8. Put an M20/M50 back in it and go drift.

    What it comes with:

--Uncracked dash -- 302 engine mounts -- 302/T5 trans crossmember and mounts -- headlight assemblies -- entire wiring harness and fuse block -- stock bumpers -- stock pedal assembly -- rear windshield -- all side glass -- sunroof panel -- ignition switch/turn signal/wiper stalks -- extra 3.75 open differential -- E30 driveshaft, Momo steering wheel hub -- late model (88-91) short rear bumper and bumper shocks

Things I can include with it if you want to spend a little extra:

-Wilwood pedal set (I was going to run manual brakes and a hydraulic clutch conversion for the T5) -Corbeau seat brackets

    What doesn't come with it:

Brake booster -- gas tank -- interior -- engine -- transmission -- windshield -- headliner -- steering wheel -- sunroof assembly

Bill of sale only, no title. Old enough not to need one, though.

Only looking to get $700 out of the whole thing. Want to see somebody finish it. It'll be one of the first of it's kind when finished.

Email nismo_92 at yahoo dot com for more pictures or information, or call 770-778-2638. Thanks. :)

Just because you can, doesnt mean you should. +34 for execution, -856 for the idea. If I had a body in white like that, I am sure Id think of debauchery far more eloquent than whats been done there.

I don't understand the -856. What is wrong with stuffing a 302 in there? I have often considered something like that. The S52 in my E30 is making about 250hp at the wheels... for $2500 w/ 100k on it. The 302 will do that for about $200 and I can blow them up every weekend all year and come out ahead.

i was hoping for a more complete 4 door. but this, combined with one of the running convertibles for sale in the area, may be the answer to my what dd car question!

fair enough, from the dollar/fun ratio, youre right, not too shabby. But I never like E30/36s with V8 swaps, especially carbed v8s...that thing needs...nay DESERVES a properly boosted, EFI powered straight 6 under the hood. Perhaps -856 was a bit hasty. New tally: -39....only a 5 point differential. Doing the rest of the build properly could overcome that easily enough.

    No engine or trans.

So he wants $700 for a stripped out shell? What makes it worth that? Some $150 mounts?

I'm building one for Lemons. Its suprising how well the engine fits in there, and ours is EFI.
