Ad doesn't say which transmission (boo!), but for someone wanting an older Corolla, this could be the car.

Wow, that was fast. Car was a '78 Corolla 2 door sedan. Silver in color with what looked like later model Celica wheels. I guess at $650 it was too irresistable.
Just now clicked it and it worked for me.
Yeah, you can click on this ad, yet when you go to the actual list of ads...it's "disappeared", not sure what's up/how that happens.
Heres one in Milwaukee http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/cto/2824119885.html
$2000 5 speed
Not mine ...
And another one... http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/cto/2761960713.html
Kind of like the blue one (the '78) mostly because I liked that body style...didn't bother to look at the 2000. For some reason (I'm not a RWD "snob") I prefer the RWD Corollas over the FWD ones. The front drivers are trying too hard to look like slightly shrunken Camrys.
My favorite older Corolla would be a '78 or '79 (not sure when the body style started,) to an '81...these sort of looked like the 1st gen 320i if you squint, or close one eye.
I'm not sure which I like more...this Gainesville corolla, or the 510 wagon that was on there a few weeks ago.
Wasn't that 510 wagon an automatic? And the Gainesville Corolla....I'm not sure how these "things" work, but if you go to the Gainesville CL it's gone, yet my "link" remains functional.
