He was like the 5th owner or something. I'm the 8th or 9th. He sold it for $300 to some guy with a blown turbo, blown headgasket, and warped head.

I bought it for $900, just tried to sell it to him for $3000. He can't fathom that it's not the same car he sold, by a LOOOONGGGG shot.

Does the ex owner want to buy it back? Hes blocking the sale?

Same guy, he's the one with the sticker shock, he's not really blocking anything, just preventing me from getting Paul's car.

I've really been in a turmoil over this car. I'd like to see someone on this board have it, and was prepared to let it go cheap (Challenge price).

But I've had an enormous amount of interest, and several good offers. Unfortunately, my family's finances are not in a position right now where I can afford to let it go for significantly less than the offers I have received.

So, with my apologies, I have made the decision to let the Ebay ad run it's course, unless I get a big offer before the end of the auction on Sunday. I still hope someone here get's this car, but I can't sell this one for $20XX.

No arguments, you gotta do what you gotta do. While we are all "family" here your flesh and blood always comes first and anyone here who doesn't get that....well, I can't honestly believe there is anyone here who wouldn't get that. I hope the auction goes wild at the end. Wish I didnt need a new roof or I'd help it go nuts.

it's okay, nobody here is in a position to make it worth your while anyway, I want it to, just like a bazillion others, but no way does it make any sense at all for me. Good luck and glad you're getting some cash out of the deal!

I will be surprised if that car sells for less than $3k. Great build, great ride. Really unique and better than factory with the manual. You should be proud.
