I know, I know, but you might actually get it for under $2010.

How do you think a V-6 hauls that thing around?

I've seen V6s in old GM dump trucks. Not sure of the displacement. I guess the answer is in the transmission and gearing.

Can't open link here, but early GM V6 in trucks was a 305ci. Many called them the "305 semi hemi" Low speed high torque motor. Had one in a 63 pick up. Spark plugs went throught the intake manifoild.

That looks to be a "BLUE BIRD" bus so I would think it would be INT running gear. Both my busses were INTer-smash-able powered. one had a 304 but lost rod then a 345 the other a 392. Pulled fine with my 68 dogde dart in the back.

    He's down to $1800.

I don't need this thing! Anyone near St. Louis that can put eyes on it? I'm not really looking, serious.

Nevermind. That's a big road trip for an unknown.

    Nothing to see here ....

Just a warning they made A, B, C, D, and E versions each one uses a diffrent part number for the water pump...BTDT.

The smartest parts guy I ever meet god rest his soul Tom York could qoute part numbers off his head for the 305 v6. Man i miss that guy.

I'm curious about it, probably not enough to buy it though. The logistics of a 16 hour drive with a total unknown is out of the question. And that's 16 hours at highway speeds, I figure 20 with this.

Bob Costas! You've done dumber things -- like Lakewood retrieval in a blizzard -- and honestly, have you gotten that much smarter in the last 5 years?

i'm kidding, of course. i just like to read about other people's epic adventures from the comfort of my armchair.
