Like it says, I need a good, working combination switch for a 88-89 CRX. It needs to include both the turn signal and wiper stalks. Let me know what you have and what you want for it. Thanks!

Is this the same? It's mine, and I'd pull the switch and mail it to you if you wanted it. Shoot me a message/email.

I have a spare wiper side complete for a 1989 CRX DX (no rear wiper, or variable intermittent control). The signal/headlight side was snapped off on my parts car.

Bryce, If it's from a '88 or '89 then it is the right one. They moved the hazzard button in '90. Does everything work? If so I'll take it. PM me about it.

Why have the Hongs not chimed in? I thought they owned nearly every Honda south of the Mason Dixon line.

Pretty sure they aren't too expensive from Honda.

Honda does still stock these as I had to get one for my '92 Civic. The different models (DX or Si) have a different price because of the addition of the "variable" function on Si's. When I bought this, it was around $75-$100 for the DX on my Civic (it's been long enough ago that I forget exactly how much).

Can you point me to a dealer that has these? I've checked all my normal sources and they ALL tell me it's out of production. Keep in mind what I need fits '88-'89 only. My buddy who runs the parts department at my local Honda dealer told me it's no longer available, and so do all of the 3 or 4 online sources I used. If you know of a place I can buy it new, please let me know.

I have found them on the ebay whilst looking for a replacement for my 89Si, out of curiosity what is broken on yours? Mine would not auto cancel or stay engaged on the left hand turn signal. I took the switch apart and cleaned and lubricated the switch and it is working great now, might be worth a try if what yours is not doing right can be fixed internally.

I've been looking on Ebay for quite a while. I bought two different ones and they were both bad. So I was hoping to buy from someone I can trust.
There's problems on both sides. On the left side the bright lights won't stay on and the flash to pass doesn't work at all. On the right, the intermittent wiper function doesn't work.

I'm still "researching" this, but so far my short term answer is a visit to the Import/Kit Car weekend at Carlisle in May.

Apparently, I forgot to factor in 2 things:

CRXs are/were built in smaller numbers than Civics and Integras.

And the earthquake in Japan may have destroyed a lot of the vintage parts "hiding places" in Japan.

FYI, I've brought switches back to life by disassembling them, cleaning up the contacts, re-greasing everything, and then reassembling.

Okay, I have found a Honda dealership that appears to have them (I haven't called and asked if their webpage showing the switch is a fake or mirage or ....?). They can be ordered as new, and therefore if they really have them won't be all that cheap.

Also found the same thing, though not sure you would call it "Honda quality", at www.autopartswarehouse.com
