I'm doing a 4AGE swap on my Starlet and need a AE86 GTS rear end. Doesn't necessarily have to be complete with brakes and brackets but I do need the axles, hubs, diff, and axle housing. Complete is preferred though.

    Thanks JP johnmpruner@gmail.com

Those were nearly impossible to find 8 years ago when I was looking for one.

Is a '79-'81 Supra rear axle an upgrade?

Yes...I'd prefer one of those axles if you have one!

Is it a bare housing? Hunting down axles and other misc. parts is a little more work that I am wanting to do...

Yup bare housing with sway bar and end links. Find it took me a good part of 10 years then it was the wrong axle spline....There were two you know.

I'm looking for one myself, for my '80 Celica. I didn't know if it would also fit the Corolla.

From what i've been told there arte two diffrent units. One uses same "T" code axles and bearings should have 4:10 ratio with LS diff The other uses a bigger axle spline and double wide axle bearings and has a 4.30 ratio. this unit had strange bolt pattern on the bearing flange it's not a rectalgle like the others one bolt is moved way off to one corner.

But its been 5 years since i was looking for one..
