    I need:

    1. Seats and or seat tracks. I want cloth, synthetic suede, or microfiber. Prefer aftermarket reclining seats in Black or Tan. Would also entertain 931 "checkerboards", and Porsche script seats. If you have the matching back seat, I am SO there!

    2. A 7-bolt Dino wheel adapter and/or a 6-bolt Dino/Momo steering wheel. I have a killer 7-bolt wheel and a new 6-bolt 944 adapter.

    3. Shift knob & boot. Prefer a vinyl, plastic, or alloy knob and separate boot. Will entertain nearly anything.

    4. A set of rear M456 Sport Shocks, OR a set of 4 matching performance shocks. Koni's are on sale until the end of May, so it really has to be a good deal on 4.

    I have:

    1. Sport Seats. The real deal, factory-original M383/387 seats. Tan/Cream/Linen Leather. Passenger seat is near perfect, as is back seat. Driver's bolster has golf-ball sized bolster hole. Powered, not heated. Complete w/motors and tracks, works great.

    2. Factory leather sport steering wheel. That ugly-butt 4-spoke unit used in 930's. All black. Stitching gone on top of horn pad, otherwise near perfect.

    3. A set of 3 factory Porsche wheel locks with original Porsche key. I have NO idea what happened to #4. Remaining 3 or excellent. These are not the stupid squiggly-noodle looking locks, they use a normal key. I assume you can maybe buy the 4th from Porsche or a parts specialist.

    4. Cash money!

I've got a set of seat tracks (actually the entire seats, but they're rough) and a nice stock shifter and boot. I could use a four spoke steering wheel.

Is it this style wheel?: The leather is torn up on mine.

That is exactly my steering wheel. And I would be super-interested in your stuff! What are the tracks for? (If the seats are bad I won't want to ship them from out there to here),

The tracks came out of my '84 944, all manual. I bought a pair of front seats at a junkyard to replace my rough seats and they came with tracks.

I actually have that wheel as well. The leather got so bad that I just pulled it off. I actually liked it better than the Dino wheel I have. In particular the horn button on a Dino wheel is really cheep. I actually dented mine by pressing it with my thumb. I also did not like the larger grip and for some reason the Dino was always slippery even though the diameter of the grip is bigger I found it harder to get a good grip on it. By removing the leather on the stock wheel you end up with a hard rubberized wheel that is very grippy. For now it is my wheel of choice.

Still have that Dino wheel? Is it a 6-bolt? Would you like to sell it?

Hmm, I'll keep that in mind. Somebody around here was supposed to have a set of aftermarket tracks for this car that would be light and bolt in the aftermarket seats without issue, but a set of stock manual tracks should still be lighter than my giant powered units.

    I've got a shift boot...

Let me see If I can find it first. I also had issues with the alignment of the plastic piece that trips the signals off when you bring the wheel back to center. Dino screwed up the adaptor so it did not line up correctly. I am wondering if my adaptor was for a 911?

Well, I have the correct 6-bolt adapter for an 86 944, so maybe mine will work. Not a deal-breaker to me though as I hate the stock steering wheel.

What, my shift knob and boot isn't good enough for you? Kidding of course, but I am interested in your steering wheel.

Ack! I didn't even see that! Same questions to you then

Let me find it and take some pics. My luck is after giving you E36 M3 about it, I won't be able to find it. I have no idea what I'd want for it, but would be interested in some sort of trade for your wheel. My wheel is sun cracked and split at the top, and with all the freakin' rain we've been getting and all the moisture in the air, it feels all gooey in the morning in that spot. It's berkeleying gross.

Just the boot, I have a knob as well, but the slot where the retaining clip goes is kinda boogered up.

    Sorry man, I'm dealing with a $5 wheel and a $20 adapter, I'm a cheapskate!

Well I did get a Momo wheel in the junkyard for $15 once, so its possible. Finding one for sale online for less than $50 is rather unlikely though.

Again, I have a wheel. It just isn't the same bolt pattern as my adapter. So I either need to trade wheels or trade adapters.

I don't have the shifter and boot anymore. I gave it to a friend and totally forgot. I do have those seats and/or tracks, and I'm still interested in your wheel.
