There are/were 2 different Chevy 4.3 engines, are we to assume this is the V8 version? There's also a V6 4.3.

integraguy, it would be a 4.3 V6, the 4.3 V8 didn't come in the truck.
Lennyseleven, have you been to the U-Pulls? There is no shortage of them up there in Flint off Dort and such! Also, look for exhaust manifolds on car-part.com and call the yards that have manifolds to see if they have a y-pipe. You can't look up the y-pipe on that site but that at least lets you know what yards have a 4.3 truck in the yard.
