Here's a Smurf blue Miata with a white top. A combination I've had in my driveway twice, actually. In both cases, the white hardtop got painted blue. In the picture, this particular hardtop had originally been red.

I do not have a BRG Miata. Best/easiest case would be to trade for the blue. If not, I'll keep it until I find one to purchase (it looks real special on the blue car...), at that point it will be for sale for whatever I can buy a blue top for.
The best easiest case would be to paint it whatever color you want it to be. You are looking at a couple hundred dollars vs $900+ for the unicorn.
I wouldn't count on a trade... the odds of finding someone with a blue top and a BRG car who wants to trade are worse than finding a blue top on the open market.

Well, the above top is on my white Miata, and will be traded for a hermaphrodite unicorn tomorrow. It's in Southern MD, so not quite local, but it's worth travelling for something that special. I'm the carrier simply because I'm headed in that general direction, so why not.

I am now holding a hermaphrodite unicorn hostage. I will let the owner know if I want passage to Bermuda or the Bahamas, and if I want to travel by way of helicopter, or airplane. Then again, I might go for travel by airship. I want to get the license plate "NTISMRF" for the drive home.
It's a good thing that I really like BRG tops on white Miatas cause now I've got two of each.
The white '93 is going to need paint sooner or later, so now that we've got the BRG roof the thought is to paint the rest of the car to match and run white stripes up the hood and down the trunk, essentially the reverse of my '90. It's so crazy it just might work.
Well, at least the hard top was ok in the accident.
