I've got a lead on a Challenge priced '57 Apache pickup (sitting on a '71 frame). I'm thinking old school pro-street on the cheap.

    Maybe my '09 Challenger??

If anyone's got anything laying around, I'd like to trade with you and perhaps pick it up at the Challenge.

I've got a 350 short block, but that's about it. Truck has a rear end in it, but who knows the condition.

    I know I'm looking for:

-Manual tranny -Good set of heads -Intake -Carb, alt, fuel pump, etc. -Used NOS system -Ignition system -Rear end

Of course, there will be a ton more as I get into it, but I'm waiting to buy the truck to see if there is any chance of picking up a few parts to go with it at the right price.

Anyone want to do a little garage cleaning and help with their trip expenses for the Challenge?

if you want old school i've got a 67 327 short block sitting at the house. Even still has the canister filter. Guy had it in a 78 camaro and droped the air cleaner nut down the carb running, the dope reved it up! It needs one piston, std bore. Heads are gone as are the roller rockers that were on it.

$75 you pick it up and help unearth it....it's in the back corner. under two MTB and some other light stuff.

I have a set of heads, carb, intake, cam from my 327. I'll post some pics up again but I think my thread is still around somewhere. Heads are 1.94's, stock intake and carb. Make any sort of offer...

I've got the 5-speed from a '95 S10 truck, the Getrag one, and a set of 400 heads that look almost new. Also have an old T-50 and a couple v-6 T-5s, depending on how much torque you are planning on making. Any of those would bolt to a small block with the right bell-housing, and I should have at least on of those here.

Should have all the bracketry and such you would need for the engine, as well as starter and alt and such. I have a decent running 350 in need of valve stem seals too, come to think of it, only the only intake manifold I have for it right now is a Crossfire one I was going to use for a funky twin-turbo pipe dream. Depending on how much you come load up I have a couple full gasket sets I might toss in too.

Got an old 14-bolt olds (I think) rear end too, and a couple '90's Camaro rears, one with 4.10's (IIRC) and both disk brake units without the brake parts. All three of those axles are 5x4.75" bolt pattern. If you don't care about bolt pattern I've got a disk brake rear from Crown Vic that would be really close to the right size too, it's 5x4.5" bolt pattern.

I'd need to get enough for the S10 trans to get me another one like it but a bit newer, with the shifter set back the 4" or so it needs to fit my S10 when I do the v-8 swap. Figure @$450. Everything else would be pretty reasonable or certainly trade-able. I'm pretty much convinced that the LSx motors are the way I want to be going on any engine swap projects I might do from here on out so if it all left at once I'd just have my hand forced a bit. I'm about 2 hours north-east of Atlanta, just shy of Greenville, SC.

I have a set of camel hump head, but they need to be rebuilt. I bought them years ago for $75 becasue I thought they were worth something, but it turns out no one wants them anymore, so Id sell them for whatever someone wants to offer if they would be put to good use.
