I need a front pair (or full set) of struts for a 1984 VW GTI.
It's a Challenge car- I need them quick.
I do have a little money left in the budget, so I can afford to buy something decent.
Anyone have anything or any recommendations?

You can get new Gariel Ultra strut "inserts" from Autozone for $42 each. Rears were $22 last time I looked.
