Long story short, I have plenty of subarus, but not one that I'd really consider to be presentable for the road. Looking for a somewhat rust free car, perhaps with engine or transmission issues. Impreza, legacy or forester. Also would take a completely bare impreza shell(4 door or wagon). Price commensurate with condition. Willing to travel around the northeast to pick up for the right one.

Any interest in a rough but running BRP '02 Impreza TS 5MT with 212k at the far end of Rt 89? Needs about as much simple-ish mechanical work and cleanup as the RS you're selling, but the body is considerably less rusty.

currently have a line on a 05 legacy gt with a blown turbo at a very good price. Hoping that works out, as that would be a good fit. Downside is that it is an auto.

It would appear, as of today, that I'm dangerously close to being laid off and can't afford to replace the Impreza with anything that'll still move under it's own power. Consider me out.

It's looking like this won't work for me, as it turns out I'm selling my daily driver(would be donor).
