The hurricane trolling up the coast, the recent change to cooler weather, and thoughts of another winter on 2 wheels only have me thinking its finally time to buy a damn car again. As much as I'd like to be able to afford a new car thats going to sit most of the time while I'm riding, I don't. Vans or pick ups preferred but DAMN near anything around or under $2011 will do so long as it doesn't need too much to get running mostly reliably for days its too cold/icy/wet to ride safely. I can drive stick and prefer it, but auto's are fine too. 1991 and older somewhat preferred to avoid having to have it inspected. Price and availability is the main concern however.
I'd prefer if you owned or know the car personally, I'm pretty good at checking craigslist but would rather get a car owned by a GRM'er than someone in the general populace. The closer to Baltimore, MD the better, but as long as its within a long day's drive thats fine.
