Here the ad I put on the HAMB:
I hate to say it but I have not been the right person for this car. It just doesn't "do it" for me anymore. It is a '61 Olds F-85 4-door with the aluminum 215 V8 (which runs) and the Roto-hydramatic 3-speed automatic transmission (which I have a spare which I was told works and will go with the car). I rebuilt the front wheel cylinders, replaced the LH front brake line, and both front brake hoses. I have the rear brake hose but it is not installed. The rear wheel cylinders need to be rebuilt (or bought, your choice). The car is not perfect but it is pretty darn complete. All the trim that was removed by the previous owner is in the trunk. It even has the stock air cleaner. It has been updated to an alternator setup. I am fairly sure the wheels are original and I have all 4 hub caps. The interior is another thing. Somebody in the 70s redid the whole thing in American flag material. It is ugly. Very ugly (pics coming soon). It will also need a LH rear door window (glass broke by previous owner, no idea how). The car has been stored indoors for the last 3 years but previously was stored outside (that is where I took this picture).
I am looking to trade for a 1985 or older Chevy truck (2WD, minimum 350 cid V8 engine, auto trans preferred, SWB preferred). It needs to be 1985 or older so I don't have to worry about emissions. The truck must be drivable as-is (no projects).
The car:
I'd prefer to trade but I'll sell it for $2011 Challenge money if someone really wants it. I'm located in Stone Mountain just outside Atlanta.
