After 1982, both the X1/9 and Spider 2000 were marketed by Bricklin's IAI (International Automotive Importers). Gone from the world after 1988.

If that car was in Fl, I would buy it ... I always regret not buying one in the mid 90s when I had a chance. I think that was the only one I saw down here too.

I feel similarly about a 6k$ Judge convertible I passed on right out of high school because it had a six pack under the hood and I was worried about gas mileage. What an idiot.

on a related note, you can find em if you watch CL enough, but the fall into two categories $$ and rusty.
