Conflicted about how to go with mower and driveline. They are worth a lot more original, but more hp (w/in reason), power steering, power brakes, front disks, etc, would make it much easier to live with. What say the group??

The six has enough power, more and you have to get wider tires. Strong Arm Steering was good enough for the people in 1964, we wussies?

This keeps getting worse. Buy it before I'm tempted to. I have an old Chevy inline 6 sitting in my garage. I think it's a 250.
And it's closer to you, than to me. How much $$ for the 250?
On the engine hunt, 283s are the easiest to find and cheaper than the 292.
