Anyone else notice the font for the speedometer? Is that so it looks normal after drinking merlot all day long?
Odd looking tires on it. It should be on 70 or 80 series tires. If it weren't an autotragic it might be fun in a "slow car fast vs fast car slow" kind of way.
These things have a bizarre electro-mechanical transmission that is relatively simple. Basically a three speed syncro gear box with an electric clutch. I'll bet a box of donuts that the service switch for the transmission is set in the neutral position or the electrical feed needs some cleaning.
The switch labeled #1 is most likely set to the '0' position and that is why the car wont move.
I had a Dauphene automatic once, picture a clutch and a pressure plate with a heave oil between them. The oil has iron filings suspended in it, the "dynamo" creates a magnetic field that involves more or less iron filings giving more or less contact/traction.
They used it on their F1 cars also. Lotsa wine....
