ahh the old jeepster commando.  If it really is a 1970, then it has a buick v6.  If it is a 71, it has an AMC motor.  It looks like 70 with the v6 badging and kaiser rear hubcaps...

The AMC engines only came in the "Bullnose" versions in 1972 and 1973, which was 3" longer to accommodate AMC's inline six, with the 304 also available. The earlier Kaiser versions such as this one had the familiar 7 slot grille with added wings which was based on the stamping used in the CJ5 and CJ6. The earlier version was also available with an F-head 4 cylinder, in addition to the odd fire V6.
