The original type of Subaru WRC car. NMNA. Missing the engine, but a 2.0 should fit in there, too.
That looks the cleanest one I've ever seen outside of the two Bertie Fisher and Kenny McKInstry used to rally. It's also about the only Subaru I'd like to own if Grp-N tarmac spec'd in a cool color of my liking. Nothing against more modern Sti versions.
Didn't the Justy pre-date the Legacy in WRC competition? I seem to remember McRae doing a Safari in a Justy. And yes I think he wrecked it.
If that were even remotely close to me, I would drag it home and start looking for a rusty WRX with engine and 5spd.

Not sure on the Justy but the Leone/GL/DL/RX Turbo was used by STi from 1980-1989 in rally use,
I got to drive one these once. It was beat, it was slow, but the boost still made me giggle. Now if we hadn't broken the poor owners arm in a slip and slide, thus needing me to transport the owner and the vehicle. She was cute though.

Not by a decade or so.
I did, in fact, used to own a bitchin' white '85 Subaru RX. 4-door, the 3-door with the full time 4wd trans wasn't until 1987. It did have the cool checker-pattern interior accents.

Sadly, not in the US. The 4CAM was Japan/Europe? only. The US got a non-intercooled 2.2l SOHC.
I think Subaru was allergic to intercooling.

The automatic transmission is still in there.

. . . . and that is why I would be looking for a transmission.

Funny, I thought it was a 2.2 and fact checked myself and saw the 2.0 listed. I should've stuck with my first answer.
