What could go wrong after being parked for 10 years, the bolted in 80's car phone should be worth the price of admission.  I so wanted to try a mid engined v12 cart as a challenge car but kids wanted nothing to do with it.

I would fully support you on that v12 cart.

I, for one, really want to put a jag v12 into something where there was originally an american v8. I don't know why I want to do this, but I really just feel the xjs' weight and styling just really let the motor down.

I think you and I are in the minority, but I too don't care for the styling of the XJS. It does nothing for me.

I'm with both of you, the xjs body is a waste of sheet metal hiding a cool drivetrain.
