I give up...

From the ad (last line):

"...Please given me a call if U have bought this car."

WTF?

Doesn't look too bad for $700.

My folks owned a '79 Mercury Zepher, also with a 302, but it was the not so rare 302 V8.

I'm not that familiar with the 302 six, I assume torque; what kind of gas mileage can you expect?

Yeah, some things I know and I'm not afraid to admit there are things I don't know.

I'm right there with you. There are also the things I know, and wish I didn't

Also I see the price has dropped to $600

For the record, changing an I-6 for a V-8 in a Fox-body, you need a new crossmember.

I just meant that it seemed obvious by the prior remarks that a 302 inline 6 doesn't exist. Sorry for picking on you. Next time it could be me.

No, no, I assumed it was the 300 - 6, still, how's she do in the city?

It's not like I haven't thrown out a one-liner or two......

I had an F100 with the 300 i6 and it was reliable but definitely not a speedy or thrifty motor. It fit the character of an old Ford truck just great.

I don't think they put the 300 inline in these. I guess the owner means a V8 302.

Same way a lot of dealers say this BMW has a V6.

I am guessing it is either the 302 V8 or 200 straight six and I am leaning 200.
