First of All Thankfully I don't have 1200.
Second selling the frame W/ engine would recoup most of that.
third Wouldn't that fit nicely on My Cobra Frame (it was a 427 but I desire a Jag V-12)

I'm thinking it's vaguely close to a Lotus 7, so build an enlarged locost chassis underneath, powered with whatever drivetrain you can get cheap.
So what you are sayin' is a Fiero Drivetrain might work?

Nah...wide tires and a Subaru engine. The adapter would cost more than the engine. Remove the windshield and leave the body alone.
