This looks pretty nice, and the price seems good. If I didn't already have ten cars...
It's an 96 or 87. In 88 they went to the 80/90 series. The first 4000 Quattro was 84 and was the one year w/o the body cladding (my favorite). In 85 came this body but was designated 4000s. Then for 86 and 87 it was the 4000cs Quattro. That engine is wonderful and that 4wd, with the locking middle and rear diffs made it hard to get stuck. I know, I've tried. Great cars!! (oh, and only 10 cars?!)
I just changed the oil on the car 1,000 miles ago. This is a very strong running car, also has brand new tires on it. Don't try to low ball me I know what it's worth
If changing the oil in your car makes it worth substantially more, you must be on Craigslist!
He might be an "I know what it's worth" guy but at least he's not starting with a Crack-head price.
That's actually cheap if it's rust free or nearly so. It could be a $4k car.
