I can smell the stale gas from here. Doesn’t seem like a bad price though.

Wow that's cool! Like a BMW 5 series with flair.

They're small, like 2002 size aren't they?

Certainly smaller than a 5-series IIRC. That one looks astonishingly clean - if it weren't half a country away I'd be plotting where to put it.

He's been trying to sell that one for a while now.  Does look pretty nice for a ran-when-parked kinda project.

Sport Sedans are cool. We converted one to 5 lug hubs from the Milanos

The engine and transmission are worth more than 2k. They'll fit into nearly any four cylinder Alfa from about 1965 to ... well 1978. Actually beyond that; I think they continued to sell the Spider into the 80's. I got out of Alfa's with my 1971 1750 GTV in '79. Before that it was several '60's Spiders, GTVs and a Super. Such wonderful cars. They don't make them like that anymore.

Looks like a cross between a VW of that era and the later euro Cavalier.smiley

That's a Sport Sedan, aka Alfetta - they have a transaxle at the back, although I wouldn't put it beyond Alfa to put the same transmission in it with only some slight mods to the input and output sides.

I would be surprised if they only imported 11...

Definitely imported more than 11, they used be not all that uncommon.  Not much in the way of redeeming qualities other than high maintenance.  I owned a same year Sprint Veloce (previously Alfetta GT) and while OK, was nothing like my '73 GTV in terms of driving fun or handling.

That's only 15mins from me...

Looks sweet, and looks to be already loaded on a trailer. That could be dangerous, especially since I know nothing of old alphas.

My grandmother had this exact car or one that looked very much like it both outside and inside when i was a kid (in the 80s). I always remember liking it, especially since Grampa drove a big Olds Cutlass Supreme, which was so lame. My grandmother is in her mid-80s now and still talks about how much fun that car was. I don't remember ever having seen one other than hers throughout my life.
