New, never used. Bought for a custom application on an RX7 but went with a different setup.

Some scratches in the yellow paint on one insert from test fitting into a strut housing.

These go for 146 each at Summit, looking to get 180 shipped for the pair.

Long travel if you're working on a rally project - 7.875 inches! We used them to replicate the Safari suspension in our '79 Dodge Colt rally car.

Yeah, that's actually why I did not use them. They can fit in a stock rx7 strut housing (but you do have to weld a ring nut onto the housing), but at race height there is maybe 2 or 3" of suspension travel. Wound up buying a set of shorter bilsteins and cutting down the strut tube.

So are these standard 944 parts, or some long-travel variant? I'm confused. That should come as no surprise though, I'm pretty slow.

These are for a 944, at stock ride height. I don't know all the variations for those cars, but it appears to fit 85.5 and up non-turbo 944's and 968's, per Rock Auto and Paragon Products.

Thanks. I'm asking for a friend. I'm sending a link to this thread to him.

Are these still available?

Cheers
