Im looking for a set of those fantastic 70s-early 80s style Turbine wheels.  Western Wheel was the popular brand but there were similar styles made by several companies.

Must be 5x5.5 bolt pattern.  Ideally 8 inch wide but 10 can work.  Its old Ford truck/ Jeep CJ size. (Dr Boost will help by finding 4x100 13x12 early 90s spoke wheels)

Anybody got a set collecting dust in their garage?

They look like this

I have a set from a stalled project and I'd kinda like to get my storage space back.  $100 plus shipping sound OK to you?  They're 4x100 13x12 early 90s spoke wheels.  That *is* what you're looking for, isn't it?

Those will be perfect for my 92 Geo Storm with 2 Pyle 12s, a 1000 watt peak (50 watt RMS) Pyramid amp, and "No Fear" windshield banner.   cheeky

I have a lead from a coworker on a possible set out on Long Island.  Fingers crossed!

I have two or three sets of 15x7 or 15x8 5x5.5" Dodge turbines, but shipping from SD would suck.

Well, the Long Island lead fell through.  No wheels. sad

Shipping may suck but the supply of 15x8s in the Northeast seems to drying up.  I think a lot of that stuff disapperaed when scrap was high.  I've found a couple sets of 15x10s but I don't really want to go that wide unless I have to.

What would you want for a set of 15x8s?

I thought I found a set, turns out the seller miscounted the lug holes.  6>5.

If I knew it was that easy, I have a set of 8 lugs I could have misrepresented to you.

On a more serious note, I saw a couple sets at the swap meet here over the weekend, but I knew shipping would have killed any deal I could have made for you.  Maybe check an automotive swap out by you?

That's a good idea on the swap meet.  Im only a couple hours from Carlisle.

The downside is they are 16.5", much like the most of the 8 lug slots I love so much.  Tires are tough to get, and they don't don't have a safety bead.

I kinda really want a set of 8-lug 16.5s.

I have someone coming to pick up one set of the turbines this weekend and I will dismount the tire from one of the rest to double check width and get a shipping estimate. The local guy is paying $20 each, which is $5 more than the local scrapper pays for them.

I am very interested if they are 8s. Even if shipping is high they will fit in the budget at that price.

Got a major score today.  Guy had them advertised as 15x10s.  They were cheap so I figured I would grab them and keep looking for 15x8s.  When I went to pick them up they turned out to be 15x8.5s and came with the lugnuts.  Win!  All for 100 bucks.

Wow that was a great buy. I just bought a set of those exact rims 2 weeks ago and while mine look to be in a little better shape I paid 3x as much. I had a set of these on a CJ-5 I owned in the eighties and always loved this style (brand ?) better than the Western Cyclones, Hurricanes or Vectors. When I saw this set come up for sale I knew I had to have them for the 88 Bronco project my niece and I are working on. It does seem true that you dont see this style come up for sale to often anymore. Does anyone know who made these rims, the only stamping on mine inside is A.H.I./M.P.G. thanks.
