The article was kind of schizophrenic, it was all over the place, you even threw in a few unnecessary paragraphs about "All the Gear all the Time" . What was the article supposed to accomplish? Certainly not answer the question, "Two wheels or four." What kind of question is that? It's comparing apples and oranges! Your readers are going to have both modes of transportation, if they like bikes, I do. The article should propose a question and answer it , point by point, This one was all over the place and didn't resolve anything!

Heck, you didn't even try to compare a '69 TR6 and a '69 Bonneville! Even your excuse was lame! Ooooh, no one wanted to ride a '69 Bonneville 500 miles! What a bunch of Girl Scouts you are!

Most of our staff fits into that category as well.

I don't think we want to become that voice of authority that tells our readers what they should and shouldn't like. We explored both options, compared and contrasted the results. I didn't get to be involved in that story, but I really liked the way JG avoided declaring a "winner". It's too complex an argument to have a simple "cars/bikes are better" solution.

    Thanks for the feedback, though.

If I ride my 71 CL350 to the Mitty next year will I graduate from Girl Scout to Eagle Scout?
