No, but maybe you'll score a good deal on a new helmet or a set of wheels. Think of it as the $2010 classifieds for (qualified) businesses.

Does this playground come with a van that says "Free Candy"? All the best playgrounds have a Free Candy van.

Can I get a permit for my canoe here?

Seems like a good idea to me. We just need to keep a mini-sub around to sink the unlicensed canoes. This group seems pretty good with that sort of thing

Does only having 2 threads say that the advertisers aren't internet savy?

Good idea, but yeah, we need some... ads? Wow - I never thought I would say that.

Give them some time guys. They'll know soon enough that this is a good place for them to reach out to you.

N Sperlo: Permits for canoes are easy to come by. All you need to do is place advertising either in the print versions of our magazines, or online. We are always looking for innovative and useful ways for our advertisers to interact with our readers. It is kind of a win- win. Readers get special offers and discounts on products they are interested in, Advertisers get to showcase their products to folks that actually buy and use them!

I hang around on the forum a lot, and also have a business that could benefit from advertising here. Only problem is, I don't know squat about making an effective ad for the magazine. Wanna buy a CCTV system? Only 550.00 for a good 4 camera system, internet viewable!! I'll call the office again about the proper way to do this.

In reply to cwh:

May I make a suggestion? Advertise the CCTV system by showing how it can be used in a garage. Will it be stealthy? Visible? Have flashing lights? A control panel to swivel and spy on the neighbors? Can I use it for my ghost hunting group because its portable? Do i need to put a helmet on it when i weld so its retinas don't burn out? Did I miss my calling? All things to put in a good ad. But really, I get to play with a CCTV system all day and all I do is zoom in on prosties and their johns. Fun fun!

cwh---- if you would like to discuss, please contact me: 1-800-520-8292

We can help with ad design if needed. We also have a ton of experience at creating ads, so I'm sure we can brainstorm and come up with something effective.

I talked to Joe a little while ago. Extremely helpful, lots of good ideas. If anybody has a product that might interest readers, this is the way to approach it. Not very expensive, either. You will see my ads soon.
