The classic Z community has been asking for a trigger wheel that fits the L28ET turbo distributor. This bolts right into the stock optical distributor and lets you use the distributor to trigger sequential injection, coil on plug ignitions, and other things that the stock trigger wheel doesn't support. It also fits other Nissan motors like the Z31 VG30E.

We're thinking about cooking up more bolt on trigger wheels, either for engines that MegaSquirt firmware doesn't support (these are getting rarer and rarer, though, as code development continues) or for engines that could use better triggering for distributorless conversions or sequential fuel. These might not take the same form as a wheel that bolts into the distributor - on some engines, a new distributor trigger makes sense, on others, it would make more sense to use a crank trigger.
