Big news! Our extended lower ball joints have just been given the thumbs up for Spec Miata from NASA World HQ. It will show up in the 2016 rule book as an accepted method to increase front camber. Forget messing around with awkward offset bushings that can slip, bolt on 3 degrees of negative camber immediately.

Supply might be limited initially, so I'd recommend ordering early.

SCCA does not move as fast as NASA does. NASA was amazingly responsive.

If you have someone at the SCCA I can talk to, I'd love to talk to them.

Update: in PT/TT, they are worth two points.

sorry Keith I don't ... but someone is a "boss" for SM (and other club racers) I just don't know who they are ... I'll poke around and see what I can come up with ... I'm around the racers, though all I do with SCCA is autoX ... (NASA TT is my on track stuff)

NASA has a SM national director, that's who we've been talking to. Also the national PT/TT director. I haven't been able to find the equivalent SCCA people either.

I look forward to receiving my pre-order. I wonder how much camber matters in RallyCross.

You'll need to log in to post.
