We're pleased to announce a couple new items to ring in the new year at DIYAutoTune.com! First item is the TransStim.

    http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/transstim-pcb-p-494.html

We've currently got them as PCBs only, but could put together kits if there's enough demand. This is a transmission simulator that copies the signals from a 4L60E to test a MegaShift or other transmission controller. We've been talking a lot about some new high end items like the Gen 2 MSPNP, but there's still some low buck DIY things to explore like transmission control.

We've also had a lot of people ask for copies of the stickers we had on our demonstration bench at PRI, which got a few laughs:

Unlike the cheap paper ones on the bench, these are printed on durable performance vinyl so they won't fade or peel. We have them in 6" x 5" and 4" x 3 1/3".

FYI-- we used a new vinyl shop for the DANGER decals, and sadly, it didn't work out very good for us as the darn things don't stick very good. We think the problem is temperature very likely, if you can apply them above 50degF and let them setup for a few hours they may be OK, problem is at least in the US it's often below those temps this time of year.

So long story short, we've pulled the listing off of the website. We're getting new decals made up in the proper vinyl with rockin' adhesive. If you bought one, we'll send you a new one once they're ready.

We're going to keep giving this batch away with orders, so either try letting them setup when well above 50degF on a car (garaged maybe), or slap them on your file cabinet/toolbox/shop fan/etc as they should stick good there, and we'll have a new batch that stick better soon....
