Last Monday 5/15 I ordered a set of General Altimax RT43's for my AWD E60. There were no rebates shown on TR's website at that time.

On Friday 5/19 I received an envelope in the mail from TR, with "IMPORTANT INFORMATION" in red letters on the front. Inside was a copy of my invoice with big red "PAID" on it, along with a copy of a rebate form for $50 off a set of four General Altimax RT43's. The eligible purchase period began the day I placed my order.

They didn't have to do that. I was already a "customer for life", having ordered many sets of tires over the last 20+ years.

But it's a great example of how a company can look out for their customers. Thanks, Tire Rack!

i've gladly paid a little more money to get tires from TR before. They're just good people.

Going to order some new shoes for the 944 today. Their website is an invaluable resource when you are trying to find non-standard tires for a weird old car that doesn't have it's OEM wheels.
