Still better than me yesterday welding in shorts and low tops while doing the hokey pokey every time I had spatter land in my shoes.
Although, even with safety glasses on my grinder still managed to launch a small particle into my eye and burn my conjunctiva. So I figure why not weld in shorts, right?
In all fairness, you let me work on your roof in birkenstocks. If I had to do it today, it'd be crocs...

But then we'd have to call you crocsguy, and that's one step too far...
How about a poll on which car the deuces drive on their movie date? Porsche?
Nope. My guess is the R63. Gotta pick up the Duecelings afterwards, I'll bet.
R63 to school this morning, FJ Cruiser to the movie, Volt to pick the little kids up, truck to the football game this evening to watch Deucekid#1 play in the band and tailgate dinner as we watch the band march to the stadium. This is why I need so many cars.
Which one is optimal tuba transport?

I know we talked about the air over hydraulic brakes as an option, but did you know that there is an electric over hydraulic option as well?
Isn't that the same system that my Rover has? It's an electric wabco system...might be worth looking into- I know one thing, it works amazingly.
In reply to Crocs haters:
Red Crocs are the best. If I had camo ones I'd lose them. You never lose red ones and nobody ever steals them. I have two pairs now, my work Crocs and my going out Crocs. I only wear them out when I intentionally want to embarrass my children. Always works. When I do real work like using a chainsaw I put on real shoes, boots even. Crocs are so amazing that Birkenstock guy now wears them and that's quite the endorsement.

Do tell about electric over hydraulic. I can't find anything other than OEM and trailer stuff.
I didn't say I HATED the red Crocs...
My wife has a couple pairs of them. Just sayin.
My EDC's (Every Day Crocs) look just like white leather tennis shoes, but are weightless, just like regular Crocs, and are like walking on marshmallows, just like regular crocs, but don't ask me what they call them or where they came from. my wife dresses me. it's easier that way.
still have my original crocs which are flip flops. I have a love / hate relationship with them. Super comfortable, but they are deadly slick if there is any moisture in the area. Can't say how many times I've busted my a$$ wearing these things. Going to regroove the soles and give them one more chance.
I've rocked the Croc for years!!! Black and blue are my colors of choice though, and there is an orange I like but keep getting "outvoted" by the CFO of the family on that one....I go expensive though and buy the ones with "CrocLoc" bottoms so I don't slip and slide on wet and oily floors. I'm not a small man, and they are super comfy.
Man, Crocs have gotten expensive....Guess it costs to look this good
Hot off the t-shirt press!
Man the shirts turn out nice!

Those are sweet. You should add a mazdeuce signature to it.
I just want to be skinny like you.
lol.
but I like beer and food too much.
the coffe mugs and wrench is his signature btw.
Mrs. Deuce and I have almost half the shirts done. She's all about setting up an assembly line and getting E36 M3 done.
We should be able to get the rest done tomorrow, so...... I've got an idea designed to reduce work for me. If you asked for a shirt before the soft cutoff, please send me your address and please include your user name so I can connect the real you with the list. You can either PM me or email me directly at ttwo.elm at gmail.com After I get the first wave of shirts out I'll start PMing people to get the rest of the addresses. Once the list is clear I'll let everyone know what extra sizes I have and then get those out.
These turned out great, I'm happy.
Not sure if my message sent but I sent it. I also sent you an email as well.
In reply to Bill Mesker :
2xl coming your way!
Email sent. Thanks in advance
And I did actually work on the truck today too. I propped up the cab and power washed everything forward of where I've been cleaning the frame. Then I started the reverse tetris that characterizes so much of auto disassembly and took off a couple hundred pounds of engine, cab, and radiator supports.
I still need to get a bunch of stuff moved around if I'm going to get the frame clean and painted before the motor goes back in.

This seriously cracks me up. A guy who worked for me for years wore sweats everyday of his life. he had work sweats and church sweats and all.... One Christmas I had him a set of sweats made up with "Joe Sweats" (his name was Joe) on the sleeve and leg of the pants.. Then the back of the shirt read "I wear the sweats in this family"
Reading this post was the best laugh of the week for me..
Oh.. and if ya'll are really working in Crocs check out Keen's version. they are a little less marshmallow, a little bulkier, but much better traction and foot protection. I wear them quite a bit.. When I am going to be doing real work like running a chainsaw I put leather on my feet too.. usually Sperry topsiders. and I have cut/split more wood than most.
