A challenge priced RX3.... I'm so jealous...

So because I'm slacking on photos, I'll just jump ahead and share the video of the first time it left the garage under it's own power. Warning... audio is loud :) Got to love cell phone video: First drive

And yes, it had a big exhaust leak (no gaskets) and blown glasspacks on it.

That was solved and shown in this video: New Exhaust

Once we sort the brake issue out on the car and do some more cosmetics to make the conquers judges happier, we should be ready for the challenge and just barely under budget (luckily tires don't count this year or else we'd be hosed).

Finally back from the summer roadtrip. After I get caught up on house/yardwork - I'll be able to wrap up this project and haul it down to FL :) Updates to come...

Got into the garage after being gone for a while. Priority was to sort out charging/fuel pump issue on this car so I could back it out of the garage and do some cleaning. Made some good headway. Turns out, charging system fix also gave us the voltage we needed to the fuel pump and problem of fuel pressure is solved. A few connections for the headlights/taillights, swap on the good wheels/tires, battery tie down, air filter bracket and this baby should be ready for the challenge! There is an auto-x in early September we're shooting to make it's debut and shake out any bugs :) Oh, and she got a bath finally!
