Ex cab from DC, 05 Crown Vic P72, the seller(cab company) painted the silver sections to make it all red for the sale

Definitely unique

Needs a wheel balance and next Summer a AC charge, but pretty good car for $1580.

The spot light and calibrated speedo make me think it is a P71 (cop), not a P72 (cab).

That is an odd side molding. I don't think I have ever seen one only slightly cover the rear door. I have seen the P71's with no molding on the front door but never a partial rear door.

There is a light blue one here that also has that partial rear door molding.

That looks good in bright red!

It is a P71, it is so marked on the VIN, it must have a supervisor's interior as Jim Thwaite mentioned.

What do you have Pat?

at least a set of new rear brake pads, maybe something else but i don't need them anymore. i can throw them in the trailer so they can ride 2000 miles down and back just to cross ohio.

Coming out of Washington DC, your P71 could have been Secret Service, Homeland Security, FBI, etc and not seen hard miles.
