Damn you Mike, look what you've made me do!
Lowered 1.75 inches on coilovers with 2+° of neg camber helps them fit. 15x8 +0 the tires came with the wheels, stretched 195/50s that will be replaced with 205s if i can ever wear these things out. I have a very spirited driving style in this car.
Oh, and thanks! I got the car bone stock from Dusterb, thats partially why i posted it here. Thanks for the Answer i didnt know i needed Mike!
No problem! Needs to be blue again, but thats only because I like that color. Still glad to send that one to you, and my white neon to brap. Yall have a wonderful home to the carsive loved.
O cancelled the appointment for painting monday.
Between having to go out of town two separate days this weekend, the weather, and physical limitations, i just won't have it ready. I was getting frustrated and feeling rushed, so i called it. Next opening will be a few weeks unless something in the schedule opens up.
Not happy, but the best decision I can make right now.
I must admit, I'm still in a funk about it this morning. I just want to go back to cleaning and painting parts and twirling wrenches. The stuff i ENJOY. not this endless sanding hell.
We leave at lunch to go pick up another parts car. This time a 1998 neon r/t that was parted of drivetrain and electrical parts for a lemons team, but has suspension, body, and interior left. Which is what I need.
That makes 9 cars here. I need this one painted so i can consolidate three into one.
Wait....what? I don't remember a red one. Or do I? It's hard to keep track. Was that a parts donor or is it a new parts donor?

Oh, yea, words. I prefer forum posts with pictures.
It's possible I'm confused and lost track of the number of neons too. I agree that photo evidence helps.
Damn you Michael. My first thought on seeing that picture was yeah that'd be a good shell. Just beat out that fender and screw it.

Its BENT. I'll be able to keep the interior and mechanical hearts of most of the suspension and fuel system but that's about it. Not a lot left to save on this one. But it was free so I can't complain.
my driveway this morning. Couldn't capture the two under the carport in front of the lead neon, or the two filling the two car shop.
Its amazing my wife hasn't murdered me yet.
This needs changing quickly. And roundup sprayed. And some Amazon taming done for the third time this year.

Pretty much why she doesn't say much. She knows what I used to do, and this is far healthier and less expensive.
