Ah! The hot air induction package!

that air pipe is too small also if you take it off it changes the way it runs significantly.

A larger throttle body and a plenum spacer help them breathe.

That intake came with the parts car that donated the 2.4 swap. It was paid for, but nowhere near great. I wouldn't be suprised to see the iceman pick up power and fuel economy.

Is there such a thing as a lower-case 11? laugh

I always thought it should be faster than it felt. The burnout just cements that in my mind

It looks more like a .1 than 11, but will accept it

Drive home with the white RT said iceman was worth the time. Much lower intake temps, and runs better.

Changed the oil in the Tabbie the RT, along with a dead washer pump... Had to lay under it a while to admire the rust free ness...

I'm envious of the space you have for your toys. I've got an over packed garage bay that can't fit a car in it. That's just with woodworking machinery. I think a tractor might need to be in my future. Try to replace my John Deer that's on its way out.

Great thread and even better motivation!

P.s. Already started looking at hitch kits for my '13 ILX
