Yes I'm still here.....having just watched the Ytube , you mentioned several times the issue of 'lifting the inside tire' . To me and we've discussed this here , in my limited knowledge of chassis dynamics, I'm hearing a suspension related scenario versus a driveline issue. I'm all ears and want you two to make top three next season. Is JK running an IRS????

Proud of the MGB............shoot I'm in awe!!!!! Correct me if I'm wrong ,but I get the distinct impression that Misur JK has $$$$$$$ equity in his rides not the sweat equity that you've surely given. That being said, your trials and tribulations throughout this journey IMHO, far outweigh the megabank he throws at his latest steed.
Jeff does plenty of his own work on his car, I don't know where he finds the time. I'm sure he has people he consults with but when talking to him, I get the impression that he knows a LOT about set up. Anyways...Finally! A new video

I feel stupid for trying to solve my wheelspin problem with a differential when the problem is actually the bike shocks. I have new Penske coilovers coming and they are cheaper than that damn differential. They look like this

To maintain my 365 lb/in wheel rate, I ordered 550 lb/in springs in a 2.25" diameter. I'm pretty excited about getting Penske, I just hope they solve my problem. I may still have to change springs to a shorter spring with an added helper spring, I'm not sure
LooseC, would it be too real that these new shiny bits actually fit without any additional mount tweaking? (looking at page38)

There are some strong opinions in the Mod community about the proper mounting of the shocks.but low and straight up and down seems to be the consensus. I thought I could just bolt them to the axle where the pushrods used to be but the shocks would have to be at an angle to prevent fouling the tires. I can weld tabs to the lower control arm mounts and the frame tubes to mount the shocks, which will be light and easy to do but for better handling I should move the shocks as far apart as possible and this is going to require some complicated fabrication. I'll figure it out when I have them in my hands.

Thank God you get it, some people are very critical of the changes. I have made mistakes but I share those, too so maybe somebody can learn for their own project. I have been told that I will have to change the front shocks as well but I'm going to wait until I compete with it before I make that decision. Have you watched the Ultimate MGB Movie?

You're going to have to come to Nationals some day and take the Panther out on the test course. I just checked the tracking info on the shocks and they arrived in Fargo, ND at 15:33 today. I expect they will be delivered to the border tomorrow and I will drive to the US to get them. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

The whole site was down for maintenance and appears to be back up now. There was nothing indicating that it was just routine maintenance, it was all just gone. I'm glad it's back but am pretty unhappy that after 6 years of "free" picture hosting, they want $400 from me to continue.
