Looking to get in one - those steel wheels are fine. Assuming the engine can go back in? I'm usually confused.
These things, even with 100hp are more fun than a bus full of cheerleaders. I don't need another project, but if I had the space, we would be having a very serious discussion. These cars bring a smile to your face every single time you turn the key.

Yes, quick rebuild and the 1275 would slot right back in. I'd do a .020 overbore and new bearings on a polished crank.
Without wheels and flares 5500.
