Great car. I had an 86 Shelby Charger Turbo. The GLHS version is on my list.

I used to have one, still have a set of 1985 factory service manuals and some stock springs for one if you are interested. I haven't seen one in a long time though.

I have a 83.5 Dodge Shelby Charger ITA car that was last raced in 1997/98. Some assembly required.

I've got an '87 Shelby Charger GLHS clone. It is rough but runs and drives and has minimal rust. I originally picked it up for the GRM Challenge but ran into other projects. It is a Turbo 2 but has been upgraded to a 2.5L block. Brand new fuel tank, brand new Walbro 255 fuel pump. Interior stripped (plastic was shot) but still have seats. GLHS dash (with plaque), GLHS Vin plate and correct instrument cluster but the body is a non-sunroof car.

4 phone dial wheels with used Hoosier AX tires. Brand new heim end shift linkage kit (uninstalled)

I'm near Tampa FL which is approx 640 miles from you. I could do that drive in my sleep as I went to college near you.

What car was the original? Was it a silver on blue car? I know later (86? maybe) there was the silver on maroon car, the red on white car, and the silver on blue car. Numbers 52, 53, 54. I know of one surviving number 54, I can guarantee it isn't for sale though.
