The direct replacement for the XK140, the XK150, arrived to the market in 1957 with numerous revisions to both the exterior and the interior while still appearing similar to its predecessors. It was initially available as either a "Fixed-Head Coupe" (FHC) or a "Drop-Head Coupe" (DHC), with a completely open-top version—the "Open Two-Seater" (OTS)—going on sale later in the production cycle.
