I have very fond memories of the TR-2s (and 3s).

Pic of crazy person (me) actually running a stock drum brake right hand drive early long door TR2 around our local track.  With the inherently ...quirky handling, I would vote them as about the least desirable car to have to toss sideways to slow down, so ironically the drum brakes would last about 2 laps before going AWOL.  And perhaps the car one should never run at speed around a track without a roll bar, too!  Original low port engine (90 bhp) would pull 5500 rpm at the end of the straight, too.
