Driving the 911

We're lucky that it's still fairly nice down here in Florida. Sunday it was like 87 degrees.

So Saturday I took the Porsche out for a spin. I admit that it's been, um, sitting parked in the garage for a while. First stop was for some fresh gas.

Saturday was our local PCA's breakfast get-together.

Yeah, I'm basically an idiot for letting it sit that much.

I was glad to see those posts on Instagram. Mine has been too far in the other direction, pushed into DD duty through some pretty nasty weather, and needs a bath like crazy.

Thanks. Yeah, hope to spend more time driving the Porsche in the near future. It's such a good car.

I need to too. I also need to get the classic car insurance thing going as I still don't have one for it. My buddy sent me 75 911S he saw on bringatrailer that went for $26k, then he sent the Nada (kbb doesn't go back that far) and that was rather interesting.

Yeah, if you don't have collector car insurance on an air-cooled Porsche, go get it. It's quick and painless.
